When you are in doubt, be still, and wait; when doubt no longer exists for you, then go forward with courage. So long as mists envelop you, be still; be still until the sunlight pours through and dispels the mists — as it surely will. Then act with courage.

– Chief White Eagle, Ponca

At this moment we stand with our community as we consider which threats, entrenched in the deep racism of this country, will be made real. At the Multicultural Center of Marin we will continue to serve our community and each other, and will continue to create safe spaces for those most vulnerable. We will continue to embrace our mission and in the face of oppression, celebrate the power of art and culture because we will not be erased. Our strength is in our interconnection with those we serve. Our resistance will be rooted in joy, compassion, and courage. Our path forward will be marked by unwavering resilience, fierce compassion, and unbreakable unity, because together, we are unstoppable.

Yours,

Lisa Bennett, And the Staff of MCM

Atentamente,

Lisa Bennett, Y el personal de MCM
