Stephany Barahona Castro is a passionate and driven Program Coordinator at the Multicultural Center of Marin, dedicated to empowering at-risk youth and championing social justice. With over six years of experience in education and community advocacy, Stephany brings a unique combination of empathy, resilience, and lived experience to her work. Having overcome significant personal challenges, she understands the importance of uplifting marginalized voices and fostering environments where all individuals can thrive. Her commitment to mentorship, civic engagement, and community projects is fueled by her unwavering belief in equity and social change.

Stephany is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology at Arizona State University, blending her academic knowledge with real-world advocacy. She plans to further her impact by pursuing a Master’s in Public Policy, using her expertise to bridge gaps and create inclusive opportunities for disadvantaged communities. Known for her collaborative spirit and dedication to fostering meaningful connections, Stephany continues to inspire and guide the next generation of leaders in Marin County. Her work is not just a career but a lifelong mission to advocate for justice, equity, and community empowerment.
