A native and current resident of Mill Valley, Khadija runs her own wedding and event planning business, Limelight Productions. She caters to a niche in fusion and cultural weddings, being inclusive of all. Khadija takes on an active role to ensure she does diverse events and weddings.  

Khadija is on the board of the Mill Valley Library Foundation and volunteers at the Islamic Center of Mill Valley. She presents the Islamic Center of Mill Valley at rallies, protests, vigils, and more to promote racial justice, equality and dispelling negative Muslim stereotypes.  

When Khadija is not working or volunteering, she loves to travel and spend time with her husband and 2 children.
