Karina, a Central Valley California native, relocated to Marin County in 2007 to pursue her artistic passions. As an artist since childhood, she has contributed to her local community through various avenues, promoting art and culture. Influenced by her Mexican heritage, Karina learned Chicano and Mexican cultural arts from her family, instilling a sense of pride in her roots and a passion for art as a healing process.

Karina’s love of community and art has led her to curate exhibitions, teach art classes in multiple mediums, and organize events like San Rafael Day of the Dead and local art and mural events. Firmly believing in the healing power of art, Karina is committed to sharing her knowledge and craft to help others find peace and healing through art.
