Justice Care Coordinator

Adrian was originally born in Mexico City but was raised in Marin County. He continued his education in Criminal Justice at the College of Marin after graduating from San Rafael High School. While studying at the College of Marin, Adrian started working at Canal Alliance, where he began developing professionally by providing valuable resource information to the community.

Following his time at Canal Alliance, Adrian served as a mentor at the Multicultural Center of Marin, focusing on guiding at-risk youth within the juvenile probation system. Through his role, Adrian offered support and tools for job placement, engaged them in recreational activities, conducted weekly check-ins, and encouraged community service involvement.

In 2021, Adrian decided to transition to a different department within the Adult Justice team, where he was promoted to work as a Recovery Coach/Mental Health Diversion specialist. Currently, Adrian continues to provide essential services to the vulnerable community within the Justice Care system at the Marin County Civic Center. In addition to his primary role, he also assists the Veterans Treatment Court by directing veterans towards the appropriate services they require.

Lastly, Adrian takes charge of overseeing the MCM Food Distribution program. Every Saturday, he and his team distribute food to the vulnerable members of the community. Adrian is driven by a deep passion to eliminate hunger in Marin and remains committed to this cause.
