Join Javier Vicuna, Santy Hernandez, and Anali Reyes to talk about mental health awareness month. We want to do our part of bringing awareness to our viewers that there are people who suffer from depression, bipolar disorder, or have schizophrenia.
Now more than ever, there has been an impact on mental health with people of all ages due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We want as part of the community to reduce the stigma around mental health struggles and give ideas to the youth of what they can do to help.
The show will consist of us mentioning the history of May becoming the mental health awareness month, what people usually do this month, and how youth are raising awareness in social media.
We hope sharing information about the history of May will be interesting to know. Also sharing information of what people usually do through local events, media, and screening can help our youth audience be inspired to do something of their own. The purpose of bringing awareness is to help someone who shows signs and symptoms of mental health awareness before the point of crisis.
Towards the end of the show, we will be sharing our past experience with dealing with mental health and how we have helped others. Engagement with friends and family can go a long way when receiving help or trying to help.
As always, thank you for watching and supporting our show! If you guys have any suggested topics to discuss, let us know on Facebook or on Instagram.
