We will be talking about Black History Month to bring awareness to African Americans in our history. African American history is American history and should be educated in our schools as is. American history is not just about white people’s history. It is about the manifestation of African Americans, White people, and immigrants coming to America to develop a multicultural nation.
We will be mentioning some African Americans to bring recognition and awareness of America history. Unfortunately, we won’t have time to recognize everyone but we at least want to bring some awareness to historical figures that should be taught at school.
